Fashion-templates .com is a fashion design student portal for aspiring designers, offering free information to students who can’t afford expensive books to supplement their studies and perhaps need extra advice from someone who’s been through the same process which they have. We offer a wide variety of professionally designed fashion templates (croquis) to assist students with their illustrations.

I started this site when I was in my final year; this is when one really needs to get an edge over the competition. After weeks and weeks of browsing the internet, I realised how tough it was to find assistance and further information on fashion illustration / design. In order to have a versatile portfolio, you need a wide variety of fashion template poses. I found that locating books of templates to be a waste of money, as the books aren’t easily found locally and that usually means that they had to be ordered without previewing them first. Sadly, they were always disappointing upon arrival. I put together the site during my last semester and drew the templates by hand, ever so slowly in my free time, adding more and more content as I went along; all this through the eyes of an aspiring fashion student. The site quickly gained popularity with very little marketing. This was due to its unique, useful and relevant content.

The site offers free fashion illustration content, tutorials and information not found anywhere else on the internet in a one-stop-shop, the fashion model templates are always current and there is a massive variety to choose from. The site is also extremely modern and user-friendly with a fashionable interface. The competition does not offer all that I do on one site, as there are parts scattered around that are offered online but you’d have to search the net thoroughly to piece together all of the correct content. To be honest, they’re not as nice looking and as relevant. We have been operating successfully since 2006 and we continue to make great strides on a daily basis.

The site works on a download system, so the actual purchase process is instant; this lets you receive what you want immediately upon authorisation of payment. The site accepts debit cards, all major credit cards, PayPal (which enables you to transfer via your PayPal balance, EFT’s, E-Cheque, Moneygram, etc).   You can preview the thumbnails of each template first, and as you go along the process picking the ones you want, you can go to your cart and view all of your fashion illustrations side by side before checking out.
